Service Locating questions
Service Locating for Adelaide businesses: what you need to know
These are the questions Adelaide business owners ask us most about service locating, answered by plumbers with 70+ years of local experience.
Why locate services before digging in Adelaide?
Before You Dig plans aren't always accurate. Electronic locating confirms where cables and pipes actually are before work starts.
Is a Before You Dig request enough?
It's the first step, not the last. Asset owners expect services to be located and potholed on site before excavation.
What services can you locate?
Water, gas, sewer, stormwater, power and communications lines, including private services on your own site.
Do you mark and map located services?
Yes. We paint and flag services on the ground and can supply a marked-up plan for your records.
