The challenge
A failing central hot water plant put reliable supply and TMV compliance at risk across a live aged-care facility that simply could not lose hot water. Vulnerable residents meant temperature safety and continuity were non-negotiable, and there was no scope to shut a wing down.
What we did
We planned and staged a full hot water and thermostatic mixing valve replacement out of hours, wing by wing, keeping every occupied area supplied throughout. Temporary connections maintained flow while new plant was commissioned, tested and certified against AS/NZS standards.
